Wedding @ Sorrento, Italy

“Hey, you have to come to the wedding”…But I have too much work, not enough time ??

“Its a MUST come”. Hmm….ok, why not 🙂 I will arrive in the afternoon and leave first thing in the morning. As long as i am there, it should be fine ?

I did not know that it will be held in Sorrento. I just had to appear at Naples airport and all was taken care of. Imagine my surprise when i saw the beautiful view of the sea. It was held at Villa Angelina off the Sorrento Coast. Suppose to be the villa of some rich shipping mangnate. The property is like what ? 5 or 6 football fields? Argh, i should have brought along my wide angle lens and my flash. Breathtaking !!!!

Nothing surprises me more than how grand the wedding was. I felt like i was in a movie, just imagine yourself at a party held by the “Godfathers”. Suit, Ties, Dresses, Church Wedding, Stage, famous performing artistes from all over Italy and Fireworks !!!! ………….Less the Corleone family of course.

And the Food ! No matter what they promise you in Asia, nothing beats having them fresh at this sea side town. There were oysters, mussels, all sorts of Italian ham and cheeses, desserts and pasta. I think i spent all my time standing next to the seafood buffet table. Seriously !!! There’s even Uni (Sea Urchin) !!! I cannot say enough…….see the pics 🙂
