Hong Kong, the melting pot of chinese cultures, western fashions among many other things. Businesses move at a fast pace here, plenty of opportunities if you know where to look.

Shopping Haven, and most of all good food……Its difficult to eat cheap here as compared to other asian countries. Yes, choices are aplenty but they do not come cheap.

Luk Yu Tea House.

The oldest tea house in Hong Kong, famous for its good dim sum. Char Siew Baos here are fantastic

but rather its also well known for being the shooting assassination of business man Harry Lam.

“About 9am on November 30, 2002, local business tycoon Harry Lam Hon- lit, 54, sat down for breakfast with three friends at the Luk Yu Teahouse in Central.

Not long afterwards, a gunman seated at a neighboring table finished his breakfast, paid his bill, then calmly walked up to Lam and shot him in the back of the head with a single bullet.” quoted from www.thestandard.com.hk.

Curious again…..i had to go visit……i had to find out where he was sitting…..

Was it one of these ?……..No one seems interested to talk……I left with no answers…….

Curious about things around me, interested in photography, likes to eat, read comics, cut out newspaper articles, me travel a lot, like to crack lousy jokes, likes to be alone, trying to run a mile in 20 mins, hate chill peppers, crazy for fashion, not enough money, has a Leica, like contradictions.

  1. hello, urbanachiever,

you’re right about your observations re: hongkong. very business-like place and people, yet things aren’t cheap, haha. foods are rather expensive, even in small eateries. only coke in can comes cheap, about 85cents (in US dollars), i think…

i was there too, feb, second week. my sister and i tried the new rides at their disney, haha. but HK is a very interesting place, for me… 🙂

    1. HK is one of the best places for street photography. There are always something interesting to see, to do, to eat. Well, i don’t really like Disney….so…..anyway, I have to go back there again.
