The Himsagar, The Fazli, The Langra – Bangladesh Mangoes are perfect with Xiaomi 15 Ultra!

Mango Mango Mango ! Before I wrote this or before I went on this trip, I have never liked the Mango. I don’t like sour stuff.  Even if they are in their candy form. I remember that when I was younger, I ate a candy named “Super Lemon” which upon the first taste will release something so sour that I will cringe every single time. Oh come on…that thing must be radioactive !

And the fact that I have only known yellow skin looking mangoes which has the same colour as the radioactive sign/logo, Mangoes are thus in the same classification for me. (I know many mangoes are sweet but allow me to exaggerated a little !)

That is until I went on this Mango trip in Bangladesh. Mangoes are….Gasp! Green !

The fact that they have 100 year old trees still bearing the Green Fruit tells that Green is a good correct colour. When I enquire about yellow mangoes, they said it happens when you cover the fruit in carbon bags that denies the fruit of all sunlight…and also fruit insects.

So what’s has been going on with me since Oct 2023 ? Busy with life and love of course ! Lol. Another reason is I did not find a phone camera taking pictures worthy enough for me to spend time blogging. What have I gone through….hmmm…..Iphone 15, Iphone 15 Pro, Oppo Find x8, Oppo Find N5, iPhone 16 pro, and then finally now back to Xiaomi and its new 15 Ultra !

I have a particular way of taking pictures, I love street photography, snapping away using zone focussing. The Leica M240 with a 35mm lens was perfect until I got too lazy to carry it around. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra did what I wanted but I moved on.

I was getting frustrated. These phone cameras are not cheap, where are the differences ? I took thousands of photos, walking around in my SPY Mode. The pictures are just not in focus, some just blurry. The bokeh…Bleah!

Then I went back Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Boom ! I am back……… I discovered the reasons why. Besides the Leica colours and amazing bokeh processing…..the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a really fast focus, faster than any of the phones I mentioned. So when I was spy zone shot snapping, it caught the subject real fast.  There ! The secret unveiled !

Who knew Bangladesh has amazing mangoes ? We kept talking about Thai Mangoes, how nice the colours are blah blah blah….only for me to discover the Langra, Amrapali, the Himsagar, the Fazli…….no…they are not the name of my friends but the variety of Mangoes, am told that there are more than 30 different varieties. The varying levels of sweetness enunciating perfumes of summer flowers with brilliant sunshine, sunrise or sunset yellow flesh…these are what I called Mangoes !

Bangladesh has 1 more reason to attract tourists during the mango peak season on May to September. It’s very unlikely for one to consider visiting Bangladesh for holidays but I think this is perfect for a farm homestay. The orchard garden owner and his family as super nice. I was even ushured into an event hall when he must have told the whole village we were visiting. Look at the food !

Lol. Thats all the time I have to write. Enjoy the pictures, Bangladesh, Mangoes and Xiaomi 15 Ultra !

See ya !!!!……..next year ! Lol.
